SILICONE BASED SMOOTH MATT EXTERIOR COATING PAINT
SURFACE PREPARATION PRIOR TO APPLICATION
Remove all loose and flaky paint on the surface prior to coating. Scrap away the rough and flaky parts. Repair the superficial cracks using an acrylic-based putty or white cement. Ensure the surface is thoroughly clean and free of any traces of dust and avoid exposure to extreme wind or airflow and painting in windy weather. The ideal surface and ambient temperature range is +5 to +30˚C. Stir the paint thoroughly and do not mix it with any other paints.
APPLICATION
If the surface is prepared with ÇKS Ustam Astar or external coating primer is applied for surface preparation, apply two coats ÇKS Silikosil by brush or roller 12 hours after the surface preparation.
For the first coat, add 20% water to thin, and for the second coat, add 15% water to thin, and leave 6 hours of drying time before you start applying your second coat by a brush or roller.
Coverage: 1 Kg covers one coat and 10-14m2/kg.
POST-APPLICATION CONDITIONS:
Protect the surface coated with ÇKS Silikosil against rain, extreme heat, humidity, and frost for 24 hours, and against physical impacts for 3 days. Clean your brush and roller with water after each application.
CONDITIONS FOR SAFE STORAGE:
Keep away from direct sunlight, rain, snow, extreme heat, humidity, and frost. In proper conditions, the product can be stored for a period of 2 years in its unopened original container.
